Houjicha is made by hand-selecting tea leaves at their ideal size, and gently rolled to encapsulate their natural goodness. The leaves undergo a skillful roasting process that not only reduces the caffeine content, but also enhances the tea’s antioxidant levels. Roasting also infuses the leaves with a toasty richness that gives Houjicha its warm, comforting character.
